By volunteering at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust you will help provide practical support to staff and patients, making an important contribution to patient care.
Volunteering can be a hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience. It can often help with your own personal development, or provide you with the opportunity to share and use your existing skills, whilst making a positive difference in your local community.
We have over 700 hundred volunteers who do a fantastic job and their work is recognised and valued by staff and the Trust Board.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to apply. We have volunteers of all ages, from all walks of life, who provide invaluable help across a whole range of hospital services.
We ask all volunteers to commit to at least three hours a week for at least 26 weeks, in order to create long-lasting and meaningful roles.
What do volunteers do?
From helping with clerical duties, to being a hospital guide or a ward visitor, there are a number of different opportunities available. We will explore with you what you would like to do when you volunteer, to make sure we match the right role to your skills.
If you want to give your time to your local community, to an organisation where you will be valued and appreciated and will make a positive difference to patient care, then apply to volunteer with us now by completing the application form below.
